The Rook and Ronin series by JA Huss | 5 Star Series Review

This review of the Rook and Ronin series by JA Huss has been a long time coming. I consumed the whole series in a matter of days, completely consumed by these 3 bad ass boys. There are 3 books in the Rook and Ronin couple series, followed by 2 books about Ford and 2 about Spencer.
The Books in the Rook and Ronin series are as follows:

Summary of Panic:
Because life so far – just sucks. Some girls get parents. Rook got the foster care system. Some girls get Prince Charming. Rook got an abusive frog. Some girls get lucky…

Rook got a second chance.

And she took it. Because when fate throws you a bone – you grab it with both hands and run.

Antoine Chaput knows the minute he spies Rook in his photography studio that she’s got The Look. The dark and desperate look he must have to land the exclusive TRAGIC media contract.

Rook is paired up with top model, Ronin, and he’s everything her abusive ex-boyfriend wasn’t. Patient, gentle, happy, attentive, and sexy! He knows exactly what to do to make Rook blush for Antoine’s camera.

Rook’s luck changes in an instant and suddenly she’s the darling of the modeling world. It’s a dream job to go with a dream guy and all she has to do is look pretty and follow directions. But there’s always a price to pay – and Rook is about to get the bill.

Series Review:
Rook and Ronin are not just about the romance. It is more about Rook leaving an abusive relationship and discovering who she is. I find that the romance takes a backseat to the story's adventure.
Rook is not an innocent bystander in her life. She has her secrets. They are big secrets. They are secrets that get tangled up with the men in her life and set the pace not just for the first 3 books, but for all the books.
The boys in the stories, Ronin, Ford and Spencer all have their secrets too. They are weaved and woven around Rook as tight as a tapestry that develops into an amazing story.
The series contains witty banter that will make you sequel like a teenager and laugh out loud. It has moments of swooning and vetting for your favorite man to win. It leaves you confused as to who should win Rook's love. It leaves you complete and happy for each character in the story. A full sense of completion and finality to these characters are felt at the end of Guns.
I can't discuss specifics without giving major plot spoilers away. Huss has a fabulous way of weaving the plots through these books, yet when you finished the first 3 of the Rook and Ronin series, you feel fulfilled for them, but wanting more of Ford and Spencer. Trust me, you will lust, lust, lust for the enigmatic Ford.

Moving on to the Novellas:
Summary:
Ford Aston is not too picky about what he wants out of Christmas. He’s not into this holiday—like at all. He doesn’t do presents, or family dinners, or parties, or church.

He does pets. And he’s got one lined up for Christmas Eve. In fact, it’s the highlight of his day. And if he can get through drop-in visits, nosy twelve year olds, an inappropriate conversation with his best friend’s girlfriend, dinner with a family that’s not his, and a party at his mother’s house—well, he might just get home in time to enjoy himself with a stranger and make it all OK.

SLACK: A Day in the Life of Ford Aston, is a prequel to TAUT: The Ford Book, and can be read as a standalone novella.

Summary:
Spencer Shrike is a plotter. Known for his ingenious, albeit illegal, plans that keeps the Team running efficiently and out of jail, he carries this same love of order into his personal life. He’s kept his long-time main squeeze on the sidelines for years as he builds the Shrike Bikes empire.

Veronica Vaughn is an explosion ready to happen. Ronnie lives in the here and now. She lives for today. She knows what she wants, and she wants it now. And right now Ron the Bomb Vaughn wants Spencer shrike to leave her the hell alone. She’s done playing his game. She’s done waiting around. She’s moving forward with her own plots, plans, and dreams and she’s moving forward tonight. Ron the Bomb is finally—finally—gonna get some satisfaction.

Too bad Spencer Shrike is standing in her way.

Novellas Review:
I know that Huss says that these 2 books can be read as stand-alone's, but honestly, I wouldn't read them until you complete the Rook and Ronin series. At the end of Ford's book, there is a major plot point that leads into his book and I feel like you shouldn't go there. Look, Huss wrote the books in a certain order. I did read the novella's after the Ford book and I wish I wouldn't have. I feel like in Spencer's book that you really need to meet him and Veronica organically through the Rook and Ronin series to really get their dynamic and how awesome she really is. Her character builds on the snippets when we meet her at the end of the series.

The Plot Thickening and coming full circle books:

Book Reviews:
I'm not even going to put the book summaries on these because I feel they have spoilers. You need to know in each of these books, both these amazing men find happiness, and the thrilling story line of the Rook and Ronin continues.
Please, please, please don't read the summaries until after you read the Rook and Ronin series. PLEASE!???? Ford's book is totes amaze, and you just want to punch, slap and kick Spencer in the balls during Guns.
During Ford's book we are introduced to some minor characters who will have their own spin-off books coming soon from Huss. I honestly can't wait.

Let's wrap this up:
  • Look, the Rook and Ronin series is recommended to everyone I know.
  • Is it a romance series? Sure.
  • Is it suspenseful and thrilling: Hell yes!
  • Is it original? Yep.
  • Were there twists and turns you didn't see coming? YES! That is what I loved most about this series. It wasn't completely fucking predictable.
  • Of the 3 guys, who do I like as a book boyfriend the best? Ford. He is fucking funny in that banter that I like so much.
  • Am I his type? Probably fucking not. Sucks for me.

Rusty Nailed by Alice Clayton | 4 Star Book Review

Summary:
In this sequel to Wallbanger, the second book in the Cocktail series, fan favorites Caroline and Simon negotiate the rollercoaster of their new relationship while house-sitting in San Francisco.

Playing house was never so much fun—or so confusing. With her boss on her honeymoon, Caroline’s working crazy long hours to keep the interior design company running—especially since she’s also the lead designer for the renovation of a gorgeous old hotel on Sausalito. So with her hotshot photographer boyfriend gallivanting all over the world for his job, she and Simon are heavy-duty into “absence makes the heart grow fonder” mode. Neither has any complaints about the great reunion sex, though! Then Simon decides he’s tired of so much travelling, and he’s suddenly home more. A lot more. And wanting Caroline home more, too. Though their friends’ romantic lives provide plenty of welcome distraction, eventually Caroline and Simon have to sort their relationship out. Neither wants “out of sight, out of mind,” but can they create their own happy mid-ground cliché?

USA TODAY bestselling author Alice Clayton delivers another delicious, frothy cocktail of a book, shaking up her characters, stirring in laugh-out-loud humor, and serving sizzling romance straight up!

Review:
A great way to wrap up a well loved Wallbanger. Rusty Nailed wrapped Simon and Caroline's story up seamlessly in the tradition Clayton way. We [the readers] are able to learn about Simon's past, which he has been very secretive about, and get to be the fly on the wall as their relationship ebbs and flows with their demanding careers.
Rusty Nailed is a bit lighter on the humor, still funny mind you, a lot lighter on the Clive, but still funny and a fantastic read. Clive still has a story line, but it is closer to the end. Don't worry, it is kinda epic how it all ends.

Sweet Filthy Boy by Christina Lauren | 4.5 Star Book Review

Summary
One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.

But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play.

When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away

Review:
**May contain a teeny tiny spoiler**

I went into Sweet Filthy Boy with an open mind. I didn't even read the blurb before starting it.
Sweet Filthy Boy was a fantastic read. A heroine with Daddy issues, but yet was lost and drifting in her life. A hero who outwardly had it all, but inwardly had his own struggles.
Sweet Filthy Boy is hot. Seriously hot. Not just the normal romance sex scenes. We have naughtiness in this book....and costumes. I love a good role play.
I really did wonder what the solution to the big problem would be, and I think the authors came out with a brilliant one. I had a huge grin on my face during the dance scene. I'm sure my imagination didn't do it justice.
Something I don't always see in books and I did find in this one is that the hero and heroine make each other better. They lift each other up. The story isn't wrapped up in chemistry or pregnancy. They make each other think about the future and help each other through it. Even while they are both ignoring the present, they seem to still think about their future. Relationships should be about making each other better and I love this aspect of the book.
Honestly, Sweet Filthy Boy gets 4 1/2 stars from me, but there isn't that option here on Goodreads. I save 5 stars for something with an amazing twist that I just didn't see coming. Fantastic job ladies. This is a great read.

All Lined Up by Cora Carmack | New Release and only $1.99!!!

We are thrilled that Cora Carmack's highly anticipated ALL LINED UP is finally here!! ALL LINED UP is a New Adult contemporary romance novel being published by HarperCollins’ William Morrow Impulse imprint and is a part of Cora Carmack’s Rusk University Series!!
All Lined Up
ALL LINED UP Synopsis: New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cora Carmack follows up her trio of hits—Losing It, Faking It, and Finding It—with this thrilling first novel in an explosive series bursting with the Texas flavor, edge, and steamy romance of Friday Night Lights. In Texas, two things are cherished above all else—football and gossip. My life has always been ruled by both. Dallas Cole loathes football. That's what happens when you spend your whole childhood coming in second to a sport. College is her time to step out of the bleachers, and put the playing field (and the players) in her past. But life doesn't always go as planned. As if going to the same college as her football star ex wasn’t bad enough, her father, a Texas high school coaching phenom, has decided to make the jump to college ball… as the new head coach at Rusk University. Dallas finds herself in the shadows of her father and football all over again. Carson McClain is determined to go from second-string quarterback to the starting line-up. He needs the scholarship and the future that football provides. But when a beautiful redhead literally falls into his life, his focus is more than tested. It's obliterated. Dallas doesn't know Carson is on the team. Carson doesn't know that Dallas is his new coach's daughter. And neither of them know how to walk away from the attraction they feel.

Excerpt: There’s only one thing in the world I despise more than football, and he’s making his way down the stairs toward me. My eyes flit around me like I’m scanning a battlefield instead of a blowout:fraternity banners, litter of red Solo cups, and a freshman pledge dragging around a trash bag playing reluctant maid. Part of me wants to keep doing that, to pretend like I didn’t hear him. But I can’t. If I ignore him, it will only prove to him that he still bothers me. I face him as he steps off the last stair, crossing his arms over his broad chest and grinning at me. Levi. My ex. He leans his hip against the banister of the grand staircase, and I spy not one but two girls sitting halfway up the stairs, obviously upset that they’ve lost his attention. Behind me I hear someone shout, “Ready. Aim. Fire!” and I know the beer guns are back in play. “Alcohol and bad decisions, Levi? Can’t say I’m surprised to find you smack-dab in the middle of that.” He kicks off from the banister, swaggering a few steps closer. His dark hair and eyes are as striking as always. I’d fallen for him so hard my freshman year of high school: doodling our names together in my spiral, watching him play from the bleachers, wearing that monstrous mum he gave me for homecoming, beaming on his elbow at his junior prom. The memory of all that just makes me nauseated now. But as Stella always says, hindsight is a pretentious, know-it-all bitch. “You come here to make some bad decisions?” He moves closer, his voice pitching lower. Intimate. His gaze drifts down my body with an arrogant familiarity. “Because you know I can help you with that.” Levi Abrams has been the cause of enough bad decisions for a lifetime. Stella steps in, her voice colder than I’ve ever heard it. “I’m fairly certain she’d rather sandpaper her own skin off.” I nod and plaster on the fakest smile in my arsenal. “And then take a bath in lemon juice.” Levi smiles back, and I’m pretty sure the bastard is enjoying this. He’s bigger than when I last saw him. Bulked up. I guess that’s the difference between high school and college ball. But it’s not just muscles… he reaches out a hand like he’s going to touch my hair, and as I jerk back, even his hands seem bigger than I remember. A man’s hands, rather than those of the boy I knew. Or maybe his head got so big that his inflated ego overflowed to other parts of his body. Also a possibility. I knew Levi was here when I chose Rusk University—hard not to when he’s the starting quarterback—but I didn’t think I’d ever have to see him. Since Dad wouldn’t let me leave Texas, and only a handful of universities here actually have a true dance major, Rusk was the best option out of the schools to which I was allowed to apply. Levi lets his hand fall away and turns to leave, but then stops to say over his shoulder, “You don’t have to pretend to hate me so much, you know. I’m here. You’re here. We could start fresh, D.” Why does no one get that it’s impossible to have a fresh start when nothing has really changed? God, I knew that better than anybody because no matter how many new coaching jobs Dad took, every school ended up the same. Levi is still a douche-bag who only cares about himself. Dad still approaches parenting like I’m a member of his team. And I… I’m still stuck. In my father’s shadow. In Texas. In this lame state school with a joke of a dance program. And now I’m stuck at my first frat party with the ex who broke my heart. Yay college.

Series Review:
Has Tiffany, the Queen E of erotica, ever let us down? Plug your vibrators in to charge before cracking this series open. Each serial is a perfect bite size bit of erotica to read either before falling into a subconscious dream like state, or before meeting that special someone.
Ms. Reisz has this way of writing something extremely erotic without writing an explicit sex scene. Oh, don't let that last statement lure you away with a false sense of sexual safety. She still goes "there." If you haven't read "there" yet, be prepared. There is no safety net or safe word while reading Reisz. If you feel you need one, it might be best not read her at all.
Toss those inhibitions aside, because you're going to discover something about yourself that you never knew existed. Dirty things that will turn you on that would you would never tell your friends. Hell, probably things you would never tell your significant other, maybe not even admit to your vibrator. I'm letting you in on a huge secret. The secret that is Tiffany Reisz.

Excerpt:
Hunter’s fingers worked like an expert, slowly pulling off the wedding dress to reveal a very big surprise just for his eyes.
You would've thought I had given him the best Christmas present in the world, as he looked me over from head to toe, admiring the new lingerie that I had gotten for my wedding night. My bra came off with a flourish, and then he leaned down onto his hands and knees, before driving his teeth into the material of my panties.
Growling, he ripped my panties down my legs, until I was standing in front of him in nothing but my birthday suit. His manly hands moved up my legs, slowly making his way to my most treasured of areas. His hot breath blew across my pussy, causing my clit to wake up from its slumber and come out to see what was going on.
“Oh god, Hunter, I have been anticipating this for as long as we have known each other… mmm.” His tongue made contact with my nether lips, slowly moving back and forth from the bottom to the top, until he was peeling those folds open. “Ohhh.”
I didn't want to miss a single moment of this, so I endeavored to keep my eyes open through the entire thing. Looking up at me, he smiled, as he performed an oral delight on my body that took my breath away. I loved watching him work his tongue into my body.
I reached for his head and guided him between my legs.
Hunter was ravenous for my body and had stirred up a wonderful sensation that was coursing through me within minutes “Ahhh.” Being a conservative type, I thought for sure that I was going to be meek and mild in the bedroom, but it was turning out that he was able to turn me into an animal.
Forcing my hand on top of his short light-brown hair, I pushed his face into my pussy, holding him there as I rammed into his mouth and all over his face. Bucking several times, I finally let go of his head, falling back on the bed with a satisfied expression etched on my face.
“If you think that was something, wait till you see what I have for you for a wedding gift.” Was talking about the profound bulge in his pants?
No, not Hunter. I didn’t think that’s what he was getting at. I really didn't have time to contemplate anything more. I watched him with rapt attention as he dropped his pants and underwear to my gaze.
I gasped, and then reached out with both hands to curl my fingers around his length. Hunter made a sigh of contentment. “I have been waiting forever, Violet, and I don't think I can wait any longer.”
Sticking out my tongue, I lathed the shaft, letting every single inch slide in and out of my mouth effortlessly. Hunter was everything that I wanted, and I wanted to give him something special just for him.
I could feel his wedding night excitement was pushing him over the edge. He was ready to explode in my mouth. He pushed me away before he went over the edge.
“Not yet, my love, I don’t want to end this too soon.”
The look on his face told me exactly what he was going to do next, and I giggled like a schoolgirl as he joined me on the bed. Taking my legs in his hands, he licked and sucked on each of my toes, causing my pussy to moisten even more.
His cock was so near my pussy that I was sure he could feel the heat emanating from inside me.
I wanted him. My insides throbbed, wanting to be filled and taken.
I laid flat on my back and stared up at Hunter. His placed his big muscular arms on either side of my head. His hard body glistened in the soft lighting of the room. His face loomed above me, looking masculine and gorgeous, like it was carved as the perfect male specimen out of limestone.
He rocked his hips forward just a little and teased my opening with the head of his cock. He stretched me little by little, invading me little by little.
Pressing forward, I felt his elongated member force through my lips, and he continued to move against me until he was balls deep. We were joined as one, and we began to give that mattress a very hard and deep workout, making the bed crash against the wall over and over again.
“My god, Violet, had I known what a wild one you were, we would've been doing this long before now.”
I felt the same way, as I wrapped my legs around his waist to get him in as deep as possible. “Fuck me, Hunter, show you how you feel about me.”
Using his legs for leverage, he was really getting into my body, and our skin was covered in a fine sheen of sex sweat. “I love how your body fits like a glove with mine.”
We were looking at each other, as if our souls were joined for all time, and I began to move my body against him, matching each stroke that came my way. The shaft of his cock was rubbing up against my clit, and before long I was lost in the throes of passion, throwing my hair back and forth across the pillows during my orgasm.
The surprising thing for me was that he didn't join me and continued to hammer his cock deep within my depths. When he pulled out, I could see a combination of his sauce and my juices coating his shaft, before he flipped me over onto my hands and knees and came after me from behind. He put his hands on my shoulders for support, our bodies lost in the moment, and I could feel his release on the horizon.
“Almost there…. almost there.”
At the exact same time, my body went out of control, and I began to strangle and milk him of everything that he had. “Ahhh.” Our screams of ecstasy echoed off the walls, and then he slumped forward over my back, licking the back of my neck, and whispering sweet nothings into my ear.
We both collapsed on the bed and stared at the ceiling fan swirling above us. The breeze from the fan made my nipples perk up.
“I bought a house,” he said randomly.

Ten amazing facts about sex

Salt-N-Pepa - Let's Talk About Sex

Let’s talk about sex.
Sex, taboo, exciting, intimate reproductive, amazing, boring, are some of the words that come up when people hear mention sex.

Here are some fascinating facts about sex.

10. Sex acts lead to weight loss

The average human loses 26 calories when kissing for a minute. Furthermore, vigorous sex for half an hour burns 150 calories (you can lose three pounds in a year – if you have sex 7 to 8 times a month). Kissing is also very good for your teeth: the extra saliva released during the act helps to keep the mouth clean – reducing the risk of decay.

9. Sex cures headaches
Next time your significant other refuses your advances by claiming to have a headache, remember this fact: the sex act can help to cure a headache. Sex causes the body to release endorphins which naturally reduce the pain of a headache.

8. Sperm is good for the skin
The proteins in sperm have a tightening effect on the skin. When sperm is left to dry, the evaporation of the water in it leaves behind protein which can help to reduce wrinkles. While this may be an excellent anti-aging treatment, the obvious downside is that you have to walk around with sperm on your face.

7. The term “blow job” comes from the Victorian times
In Victorian times, a slang term for a prostitute was “blowsy”. At the same time, “blow” was slang for ejaculation. Consequently, by the 1930s, the act of fellatio came to be known as a blow job. It was also used to describe jet planes in World War Two. In Ancient Greece, the common slang for a blow job was “playing the flute”.

6. Humans aren’t the only creatures to have sex for fun.
Humans aren’t the only members of the animal kingdom that have sex just for fun. Dolphins and Bonobo chimps have also been observed engaging in sexual activity, when they are not in their natural reproductive cycles. With the exception of a pair of Cohan gorillas observed doing so, bonobos are the only non-human animal to have been observed engaging in all of the following sexual activities: face-to-face genital sex, tongue kissing, and oral sex. When Bonobos come upon a new food source or feeding ground, the increased excitement will usually lead to communal sexual activity, presumably decreasing tension and allowing for peaceful feeding. Interestingly, Bonobo chimps also play and experience joy like humans.

5. Orgasms can make women more creative

Studies have shown that orgasms can make women more confident, productive and creative. And it’s a feedback loop—women achieve fuller orgasms when they are being creative.

4. Being well hydrated leads to better orgasms

Because the body is mostly fluid, being hydrated enhances people’s ability to achieve orgasm.

3. The Vibrator

According to the Museum of Sex, the vibrator was originally used as a medicinal treatment for female "hysteria" during the 19th century. The vibrator-induced orgasms helped doctors dissipate hysteria's anxiety-related symptoms.

2. Sex and Social Media

Forget post-coital cuddling! According to a poll by consumer electronics site Retrevo.com, 36 percent of people under the age of 35 check their Facebook and Twitter accounts after a roll in the hay. Hopefully, they are not posting any pictures!

1. Who has more sex, men or women?
Think men get laid more than women? Wrong! According to Men’s Fitness, women have sex 17 percent more often than the average guy. Go girls!

Extra:

Think food is sexy? Some people admit to feeling a similar sense of arousal when thinking about food as they do when thinking about sex.

BOOK SUMMARY:

Reaching for sunlight...

Finn survived the ambush and came home to me, but in his head, the battle is still raging. He’s falling apart and I’m trying my best to pick up the pieces of him, to find the us we used to be. I love him as much as I ever did, but love isn’t enough to fix this. I thought telling my father about our relationship would be the hardest thing we’d ever have to face. I was wrong.

Lost in shadows...

All I wanted was to be worthy of Carrie. One mission, just one, and I’d be able to give her the future she deserved. Then everything went wrong, leaving me tainted and broken. Carrie wants me to be who I was, but all that’s left is what they made of me. I’m no good for her. No good for anyone like this. I have to figure out how to move forward. Alone.

Sometimes love isn’t enough…
Excerpt:

“Don’t let me die...Please don’t let me die...”
Explosions boomed in my ears, shooting me upright into a sitting position in bed, gasping for air and crying out into the empty bedroom. Gunshots still echoed in my head, along with the gurgling of Dotter’s blood as it poured out of his body until there was nothing left. I looked down at my hands, half expecting to find them bloody. They weren’t.
But metaphorically? That was a whole other fucking story.
Trembling, I rose to my feet, my broken arm casted and hanging uselessly in a sling. My body was coated in a light sheen of sweat, and even my sheets were dampened and dark. Blinking at the sunlight that crept through the closed curtains, I tried to remind myself where I was. I wasn’t fighting for my life. Wasn’t watching people die. I was safe.
As safe as I was going to be, anyway.
Pushing the curtains back, I squinted outside. After spending a couple of weeks in a hospital in Germany, followed by another couple of weeks in a hospital in D.C., it was nice to be in a home. But instead of the sandy beaches and hot weather of California, I saw a foot of snow reflecting the sun, blinding me. And we were supposed to get even more tomorrow night. Fucking ridiculous. I studied the position of the sun in the winter sky. Damn, what time was it now? Last thing I remembered, I took a few pills and zonked out. It had been...morning? Maybe? Now, judging from the sunlight streaming through clouds, it was mid-afternoon.
I’d missed a whole day.
Sure. I could act shocked about this, but that happened more often than not lately. I slept away the day, high on painkillers and drunk from whiskey. When I woke up, I swore I wouldn’t touch another drink. I’d last an hour or two.
Then I’d do it all over again.
I ran my hand over my shaved head, wincing at how rough it felt. I’d been back in the good old USA for a couple of days now. I still felt like I was trapped in the fucking desert. Instead, I was in the winter wonderland from hell. Carrie’s parents’ house.
A knock sounded on the door, and I dropped the curtain. I glanced down at myself. I had on a muscle tank and a pair of black basketball shorts. Decent enough, I supposed. “Come in.”
The door cracked, and the red hair I’d recognize anywhere appeared before the face I needed so damn much did. “You’re up?”
“Yeah.” I tugged on my tank and crossed the room. “You can come in.”
Carrie entered, shutting the door behind her. She hesitated, looking torn. Her blue eyes were sober and crystal clear, while I was a fucking drunken wreck. I’d been snapping at her lately. Pushing her away. I hated myself for it, yet I couldn’t seem to fucking stop.
“Did you sleep good? I thought I heard you cry out.”
I fingered the puckered wound on my head. It was still sensitive to the touch and ugly as fuck. Not as ugly as the rest of my scars. Inside and out. “I had another nightmare. Same old thing.”
She approached me slowly. “Anything I can do to help?”
“Yeah.” I met her eyes. “You can come hug me.”
She gave me a smile. “Anytime.”
Within seconds, she was in my arms. Well, my arm. I glowered down at my broken arm, knowing it was as marked up as my head. You just couldn’t see it right now. I closed my arm around her, burying my face in her neck. “Fuck. I missed you.”
She tilted her face up to mine. “I missed you, too.”
