Book Review:
So, I have been kind of in a book funk. You probably couldn't tell because of the reviews that I have put up recently, but I have been reading a ton of other books that I'm really just not feeling. You know, once you start reading a genre and are deep in the heart of it, they all kind of feel like they are cast from the same mold. Well, this one breaks from the mold.
Jake has a secret. He is dark, but funny at the same time. The book serves as a great lesson that things are not always as they seem. When you do find out Jake's secret you could just die. You feel everything that Nina feels.
There really is no better guy with a bigger heart than this guy it seems. I can't believe what he has had to endure during his life and he really seems to be a fantastic book boyfriend. The way he helps Nina with all of her fears in a most interesting way is a testament to Penelope's creativity. I'm kinda wondering how long it took her to create such interesting ways.
For all the love that Jake has in his heart, the things he did for Nina and the man that he is, I give Jake Undone 4.5 Stars.

Penelope Ward grew up in Boston with five older brothers. She spent most of her twenties as a television news anchor, before switching to a more family friendly career. Penelope lives for reading books in the new adult genre, coffee and hanging out with her friends and family on weekends. She is the proud mother of a beautiful 9-year-old girl with autism (the inspiration for the character Callie in Gemini) and a 7-year-old boy, both of whom are the lights of her life. Penelope, her husband and kids reside in Rhode Island.
