Tangled by Emma Chase | Book Review | 5++ stars!

Book Blurb:
Drew Evans is a winner. Handsome and arrogant, he makes multimillion dollar business deals and seduces New York’s most beautiful women with just a smile. He has loyal friends and an indulgent family. So why has he been shuttered in his apartment for seven days, miserable and depressed?

He’ll tell you he has the flu.

But we all know that’s not really true.

Katherine Brooks is brilliant, beautiful and stubborn. She refuses to let anything, or anyone, derail her path to success. When Kate is hired as the new associate at Drew’s father’s investment banking firm, every aspect of the dashing playboy’s life is thrown into a tailspin. The professional competition she brings is unnerving, his attraction to her is distracting, his failure to entice her into his bed is exasperating.

Then, just when Drew is on the cusp of having everything he wants, his overblown confidence threatens to ruin it all. Will he be able untangle his feelings of lust and tenderness, frustration and fulfillment? Will he rise to the most important challenge of his life?

Can Drew Evans win at love?

Tangled is not your mother’s romance novel. It is an outrageous, passionate, witty narrative about a man who knows a lot about women…just not as much as he thinks he knows. As he tells his story, Drew learns the one thing he never wanted in life, is the only thing he can’t live without.

Book Review:
Holy friggin crap! There are not enough words that Drew Evans could verbalize (which he is epically good at) that can tell you how great this book is.
If all of the members on Goodreads are any indication that Tangled is written by the best new author this last year, I don't know what else can speak for this book.
I swear, I am a guy in a female's body. Drew shoot straight. He doesn't sugar coat anything and he has the personality and courage to say what he feels and be witty about it.
The story is told from his perspective and there is just something about books and movies that acknowledge the audience that I just love. It is like he is sitting on the couch with you telling about his horrible encounter with the "Flu," is the most animated and hilarious manor.
If you have read the Chocolate Lover's Series, aka Seduction and Snacks, ect; and you loved it, this book is very similar, and might I say, funnier? God, I hate to say that because I love Tara Sivec, but Emma really wrote a brilliant, lovable, filthy-mouth character. I can just image that he and I would be bestest of friends in real life.
I give this book 5 blindingly bright, consuming and radiating stars!

So, Emma has some awesome stuff over on her blog. What you might ask? Well, you can pose questions to the Drew man himself, and every so often, Drew will answer it on his own little column on the blog. YES! In his more unique soliloquy, Drew answers random question submitted by lovely people like ourselves. Find it here: http://www.drewevans.net/
